Great movie, watched tonight for the first time in a while. Jack Nicholson is incredible, his type of actor is long gone.

Pretty funny when he tries to fuck that guy's wife in the RV despite her not giving him any signals whatsoever.

Nicholson is very hit or miss. This automatic assumption that every role he takes is Oscar worthy is what makes him overrated. He was horrible in The Departed.

Not really similar to About Schmidt but the director made Election which I wasn't expecting to be as funny as it was.

It was Nicholson's last great performance and arguably one of the few films he made after the Shining where he wasn't playing a version of his Wacko Jacko persona, the only others I've seen being The Pledge, The Postman Always Rings Twice and Reds.
