They think they’re heroes now like flight attendants. They used to know their place as hospital waitresses and ass wipers but now they think they’re actual medical professionals.

It’s probably because there are so many women doctors now. They used to be comfortable as subservient to the superior male doctor but now they think they’re smarter and better than the doctors like all women do with each other in the workplace.

We have Nurse practitioners, if you want to see a MD you have to wait three months or more but they will get you right in to see these nurse doctors

Sure, they’re fine if you have an easy problem that can be fixed with Google but just need access to drugs and don’t want to wait.

I used one via video chat when I got salmonella poisoning at some resort this summer. I told her I was shitting every hour and needed a z-pac so she asked me about 3 questions and then gave it to me. Very convenient. She barely spoke English.

Don't know if all hospitals/doctors do it but here they have tiers of what drugs are allowed to be prescribed going by their medical degree the nurse practitioners can't give you narcotics, etc... they will try pushing physical therapy instead for every stupid thing that it won't help, they are still doing video visits in certain specialists where if you don't have the ability to do video at home they refuse to see you

They have this complex where they think doing hospital legwork and admin makes them qualified neurosurgeons. Doctors hate them for it. Its also a shitty job because low income kids get roped in thinking its a respectable and valued career path. By the time you turn 21 and realise you're boxed into a low paying manual job with very specific training you'd start to turn bitter at the world too.

They put a urgent care and pharmacy in but its closed because they can't get anyone to work there, the hospital really made out with chink flu gibs from government and expanded with a lot of empty offices now
