Why are gang shootings lumped in with “mass shootings”?

In my mind a “mass shooting” is when some Bobo or Anthony Cumia walks into a shopping mall or TGI Fridays and starts putting bullets through the toddlers’ chests and faces…

But according to the federal government and corporate media - a mass shooting is any time 2 or more people are shot in a violent altercation.

This means that when they say “there are 2,000 mass shootings per year in America” they’re leaving out the part where 1,996 are black gang wars.

Funny how that works.

Thats why if you want to talk about “gun control” you have to make distinctions. These distinctions are never made because its much easier to say “ban all guns” than tackle each issue with its own unique solution.

The key to stopping mass shootings ala school shootings is a couple things: As a parent if you have a crazy kid in the house maybe don’t own guns or keep them behind extreme lock and key. If you’re diagnosed with PTSD / paranoid schizophrenia you probably shouldn’t be able to own a gun.

But the solutions to 99% of mass shootings aka black gang wars is completely different. You basically can’t do anything law wise with guns to stop this. You’d have to basically focus on reintegrating these hoods and hoodlums into modern society through putting parents back in the house, having more opportunities than gang shit, having good schooling systems and making education a priority, not idolizing the gang lifestyle etc.
