They were both dicks but Danny was in the right. Fuck up your computer while breaking the law on the air or listen to a fill in co host. They were both shifty to each other that day and I hate to say Danny was in the right but he was.
By definition, yeah, it kills said bit but I don’t give a fuck if it’s a pirated movie or if it’s porn, playing videos on an audio-only medium is El Terriblé.I seem to remember them talking about and trying to access a pirated movie, not porn. And regardless of subject matter it is absolutely a bit killer.
but Danny was right here.
thats setting a dangerous precedent
lets say less wrong than usual
Idk what year this was but they were probably on XP/vista and probably using Internet Explorer, it was so easy to get IE hijacked because of something called ActiveXDanny was wrong because anyone of his computer literacy level at the time should have been well acquainted with ZShare.net, which was not a scam site.
It was just a file/video sharing site like MEGA is now. It was the go-to site for movie pirates. It may have had popups, but I never encountered them because if you didn't have the popup blocker enabled, it was your own fault.
The other reason Danny was wrong, he stopped the show. "No! I'm not clicking on it!" Oh great, guess we'll sit here and change the subject then.
Just relistened to it, all i got out of is they needed Opie that day, Opie would've called it 5 min in either to click the site or not. Instead we got Nana pussyfooting around the whole thing and can't choose to stand up for his butt buddy and tell Patrice to shut it etc
Patrice was acting like a pouty bitch during that fight. He was wrong, knew he was wrong, but kept dragging the argument on forever. He was trying to psychoanalyze Danny's valid objections because he didn't like losing an argument.Patrice because he knew how to bring the bitch out of grown men. He did the same thing to DeRosa by saying that Alfred Hitchcock was a hack and by making fun of his EVO phone.
Maybe, but the point still stands: if Opie had urged Danny to do the same thing, Danny wouldn't have talked back the same way. Patrice was asserting his dominance to a guy who, by Patrice's account, was acting passive-aggressive for weeks or months.Patrice was acting like a pouty bitch during that fight. Hold on, you mean to tell me that Danny would have listened to what his boss told him to do? Powerful observation!Maybe, but the point still stands: if Opie had urged Danny to do the same thing, Danny wouldn't have talked back the same way. Doesn't mean you should act shitty to a guy who contributes to the show. Opie was out that day and the only authority left was Danny's gf/father Nana. He wouldn't have acted shitty toward Patrice if Opie was there.Hold on, you mean to tell me that Danny would have listened to what his boss told him to do? Powerful observation!
