And Patrice is very wrong here. This was during the piracy heyday of prosecution, it's a legit fear to have, especially on a company computer. Even if no one went after Sirius, Danny would set a dangerous precedent, and it's a guaranteed firing - no other option would suffice to avoid others doing the same thing.

Idk what year this was but they were probably on XP/vista and probably using Internet Explorer, it was so easy to get IE hijacked because of something called ActiveX
It's not as easy as now to not get a virus, the only way you can get it now is that you are a Joe Cumia type where you are always smarter , know better and get to one up anyone else all the time, and ignores and turn off every warning

Patrice was acting like a pouty bitch during that fight. He was wrong, knew he was wrong, but kept dragging the argument on forever. He was trying to psychoanalyze Danny's valid objections because he didn't like losing an argument.
Maybe, but the point still stands: if Opie had urged Danny to do the same thing, Danny wouldn't have talked back the same way. Patrice was asserting his dominance to a guy who, by Patrice's account, was acting passive-aggressive for weeks or months.

Doesn't mean you should act shitty to a guy who contributes to the show. Opie was out that day and the only authority left was Danny's gf/father Nana. He wouldn't have acted shitty toward Patrice if Opie was there.
Up for debate. Patrice, Erock, Sam, etc. all treated so-called "Nopie" shows like a day with a substitute teacher.
