I'm on an old white guy curmudgeon rant so I'll just say this. The white guys who I remember wearing them always seemed like dirtbags/addicts/wiggers/etc to me. But that was a couple years back, pre-pandemic for sure. I'm not up on fashion much so they could be mainstream now
