Bad Santa is the greatest Christmas movie ever made and his role as the mall manager is fawkin hilarious. His uncomfortable faces at anything Billy Bob Thorton does or Bernie Macs chewing are great.

The first thing I ever saw him in was Sling Blade, so he's basically that character to me forever. Which is probably a testament to how great he played the role, but I'll always remember him as being a little "funny."

I saw a John Ritter interview where he talks about Sling Blade, and during that poignant scene in the diner where Vaughan takes Carl out for lunch those two couldn't quit fucking laughing while filming it. It's weird thinking any laughs could be had making that movie, much less able to lock up the giggles when it mattered.
