There was the occasional crossover gag. US Acres was way better anyway, I’m glad they didn’t sully it with visits from Garfield and that retard Odie.

The OP one was only for season one, I think. Even in syndication the 2nd version was used, which is why it's the one that's synonymous with the show.

Makes sense, too. It's a genuinely more catchy song than the original.
