Interesting take. Season 1 of AS has an underground charm to it. It's seasons 2-5 with Danny Devito that really make it a top notch comedy, one that was willing to take MADtv style risks. After that there's like 2 good episodes a season, like any other show it flanderized and went too deep into meta inside jokes. Because the writers they hire are fans, that's why shows get ruined

Same reason The League went to shit, it stopped being about fantasy football
