WAWAW Peacocks (the actual birds)?

I'm working in a neighborhood where there are 100's of them. They're annoying as fuck. They're loud as shit (they sound like screaming cats) and they're not afraid of cars or people- so they pretty much refuse to get the fuck out of your way. They also jump on roofs and run around and make a racket-

They're loud pretty much 24/7 because at night, they react to people coming and going- and they're screaming all morning and afternoon. The funny part is that these peacocks are in a pretty busy area in a major city. And the peacocks have the run of the neighborhood. They block streets and think nothing of walking around on your front yard, your backyard, and roof. And, if they see their reflection in your car, they may attack it and dent and scratch the shit out of your car. I'm not sure how the people in the neighborhood put up with their shit.

There was on one of my usual running routes. It was on the outskirts of a village and all on its own. It hung around a school and some old people's housing so I guess they would feed it. I think it died though as I haven't seen it in years. I wonder how on earth a single peacock was walking around in the English countryside. Was always a nice thing to see but I guess it it was the norm the novelty would quickly fade

Yeah they're kind of bastards. My buddy's parents have had several but they let them just walk the property so they end up disappearing. I was in a band with a guy whose parents had a couple peacocks in a big enclosure that was way off in the woods and the guy had to feed them and a shitload of dogs in kennels every day. He hated the peacocks. He'd always just fling food at their heads out of a plastic cup and he'd be like "they fucking spill it anyways. They're extremely stupid."

My first time seeing one was at the Toronto zoo. There was a little courtyard petting zoo part and I remember some kid screaming like he got shot because a peacock pecked him or bit him.
