I'm an hour in and the pacing is exquisite. Can't believe I've never seen it beforeGreat movie. Truly heart wrenching. One of the few movies that really got a reaction out of me. Enjoy brotherman.
As an aside, if you wanna see her rock the fucking house in a movie, I highly recommend "Ironweed" with her and Nicholson as a pair of wine bums in Depression era Albany. Killer fucking flick, and a bit touchingMeryl Streep sucked, but women never have a place in a war movie.
Tell me more about the good ol days, grandpa!Back when Hollywood made movies about adults, for adults. And people actually went to see them, too.
The Bijou was right around the corner, cost forty cents a ticket back then, and a soft drink and some popcorn was like a dime. We didn't really have black people back then, so you could hear all the dialog, too. After the movies we'd go over to the malt shop, play some Paul Revere And The Radiers on the jukebox and see what Fonzie was up to. Then we'd head home and maybe watch some Carol Burnett or Johnny Carson before bed.Tell me more about the good ol days, grandpa!
you're insane, that wedding setup was greatGreat movie, but that hour long wedding scene was drawn out and pointless.
I'm just glad somebody was able to tell a tale of brave VIETNAM VETERANS
It wasn't bad in itself but I remember it taking a ridiculously long time.you're insane, that wedding setup was great
