As an aside, if you wanna see her rock the fucking house in a movie, I highly recommend "Ironweed" with her and Nicholson as a pair of wine bums in Depression era Albany. Killer fucking flick, and a bit touching

The Bijou was right around the corner, cost forty cents a ticket back then, and a soft drink and some popcorn was like a dime. We didn't really have black people back then, so you could hear all the dialog, too. After the movies we'd go over to the malt shop, play some Paul Revere And The Radiers on the jukebox and see what Fonzie was up to. Then we'd head home and maybe watch some Carol Burnett or Johnny Carson before bed.

Visually the wedding scene was the most impressive part of the movie for me. The sequence outside in the street would be impossible to shoot today. To quote Johnny Sac, “This guy’s more creative than Spielberg.”

I think it was Tranthony who said something about it feeling like 2 different movies since it's so long and has 2 completely different tones from the first and second half. I did enjoy it though.
