Watched The Brown Bunny (2003)

I got bored... So I started watching it with commentary by director Vince Gallo. And it was hilarious.

"This girl was originally meant to be played by kirsten dunst but she can go to hell. Fuck her. Winona ryder too."

"By this point in the movie maybe 100 people had walked out. Everyone was booing. Fuck them."

"This is a great shot because the actress was visibly agitated since she was 90 years old and it was 6 o clock and she hadnt eaten dinner yet. So her annoyance is real and works well with the scene. I'm ugly. I feel bad for whoever has to watch me on screen."

Vincent Gallo is pretty much playing himself in Buffalo '66. He's a neurotic sperg scumbag and it's hilarious. He seems to have zero patience for women in general, which is again hilarious.

I think all I've ever seen him in is Buffalo '66 (which I liked a lot), Brown Bunny (which is terrible), and he played a creepy tranny pedo cult leader in Freeway 2, which is a better movie than it gets credit for. He was apparently also in Goodfellas but I can't think of who the fuck he was. I'm also shocked to learn that he's the same age as my dad.

It took me ages to find him in goodfellas. No answer for that online, so if someone eventually googles the question like i did and finds this post with the ONLY answer in existence, youre welcome:

Vince Gallo in Goodfellas:

1 hour 40 mins into film. Sitting in background at a table. You can see him at start and end of scene, look through the door.

I miss extras you got with DVD.
Now everything is streamed they don't put any effort in anymore. Its all just bullshit youtube promo's or whatever.
When DVD first come out it was a big deal, and they would drag up cast members from TV and film long after it had aired which gave pretty cool perspectives. Especially great when you had the whole cast together talking/reminiscing etc.

When I stopped bothering to watch extras is when I realized I'd fallen out of love with film.

He was also in Abel Ferrara's The Funeral with Christopher Walken and Chris Penn which, despite the cast, was awful.

You gotta respect him for convincing Chloe Sevigny to give him a bj on camera and convincing her it's "art". Dumb bitch.
Sevigny told The Associated Press not long after the movie’s release, “I knew people would not understand it,” she explained: “When you see the film, it makes more sense. It’s an art film. It should be playing in museums. It’s like an Andy Warhol movie”.
