If you enjoy the movie you have to read the book. It is 500x funnier. Giamatti’s character is much much more pathetic. There’s a scene where he steals his mom’s money that had me HOWLING, Joe Rogan.

Great movie and very rewatchable. Thank god Payne stayed strong and cast Haden Church. Apparently Clooney campaigned hard to be cast as Jack, and was at the height of his star power at the time, but Payne resisted him and the studio. Imagine how shit it would've been with Clooney and his head tilt hamming it up and being completely unbelievable as a pussy hound.

Rewatched it on a flight last year. Good movie - the part where he hits at the guys behind him on the golf course and when Thomas Haden Church bangs the fat chick still crack me up.
