Sorry, but if that story actually happened like Luttrell said it did, how retarded were those SEALs? Let's release the goat herding Taliban sympathisers and give them a downhill head start before we try to climb ass up a mountain and call in a stinger magnet Chinook. I get not putting US branded 5.56 in them, but why didn't they march them up with them and let them go the second they were on the helos out of there? They all would have lived.

You can read the real accounts online or in books. But it was well known that Marcus Luttrell never fired his weapon in combat even once. His team was the SDV team which are combat swimmers that do not use guns. They plant mines on bridges or submarines. That they were sent to the mountains of Afghanistan was one of the biggest mistakes in Navy history. Because they all died pathetically not even wounding a single terrorist.

Yeah in the movie they kill like 50 niggers. But the actual truth is that they didn't even wound one. When the Rangers found Marcus he had every single one of his magazines on him and his weapon had never been taken off of safety.
