It ruled. I thought it wouldn't but it did. It's about lesbian love in in the early 1960s. Sweet movie that avoids being annoying without fail.

Based on the only book by Patricia Highsmith that is sentimental or about love. The rest were about gay fellas who murder. It ruled. I thought it wouldn't but it did. It's about lesbian love in in the early 1960s. Sweet movie that avoids being annoying without fail.
Hopefully I didn't oversell it. I brace myself for being called a faggot.I remember seeing the trailer back in the day and thinking "this is the most Jewish movie yet". I'll take your recommendation though.
I have a heart unlike some of the savages here.Hopefully I didn't oversell it. I brace myself for being called a faggot.
The Ripley books are great. I know she was a lesbian but she was clearly a sociopath too. She writes one so well.Based on the only book by Patricia Highsmith that is sentimental or about love. The rest were about gay fellas who murder.
Do ya?Saw it a while ago, too artsy for my taste. And i do like those artsy indie movies.
It's an engaging movie despite the lack high drama and it shows something beyond the lesbionics that makes it relatable. It's better than meh. Maybe you went in with the wrong expectations as a Ripley fan, hoping at least for some entertaining kind of cynicism.Just watched it. Lol, you faggots. It was well made and well acted but meh.
I read two biographies about Highsmith. She enjoyed seducing married women and breaking up their marriages. She also watched her girlfriend take an overdose of pills and left her there. She ruled. The Ripley books are great. I know she was a lesbian but she was clearly a sociopath too. She writes one so well.
Are you a homosexual, Taylor?it shows something beyond the lesbionics that makes it relatable.
That shitty movie was gayer... Charlie Sheen getting fag eyes from Willem Dafoe. Are you a homosexual, Taylor?
Seriously though, I thought Rooney Mara was excellent in it, she even outshone Blanchett - no mean feat. Didn't get bored watching it, but I have no desire to see it again and will probably forget about it in a week. It was one of those films like Revolutionary Road or the one with Julianne Moore and the black gardener and gay husband - behind the picture perfect 50s façade, trouble and repressed feelings are brewing, got it.It's an engaging movie despite the lack high drama and it shows something beyond the lesbionics that makes it relatable. You thought Platoon was shit? OK.That shitty movie was gayer... Charlie Sheen getting fag eyes from Willem Dafoe.
It's not an objectively bad movie. But I didn't like it and it annoyed me. Kind of trite although the guy was in the war himself... I know this sounds arrogant and that I might be wrong. You thought Platoon was shit? OK.
The whole "duality of man" thing being represented by the Christ-like Elias (complete with crucifixion by Kalashnikov) and scarred semi-demon Barnes is a bit on the nose, but I can watch it again and again. It's not an objectively bad movie.
