Yeah. In the UK after friends (when it was on and big) there was this long run of soon to be cancelled shows in that slot. Ally McBeal, Caroline in the City Suddenly Susan etc. I was about 11 and the only people who ever talked about it were the weird cheese and mayo sandwich looking girls at school. Haven't even seen it on a streaming site since. Maybe it is, who knows

All I remember is they had the computer generated dancing baby. It freaked everyone out back in the 90s. Also had a character named John Cage which always bothered me. Or maybe that was another show. I don’t know. There was a show called Ally McBeal though. I think. I was high most of the 90s.

I remember watching Ally McBeal with my mom once and I remember thinking it wasn't as gay as most of the shows for women she watched. Robert Downey Jr was in it.

The fucking ooga chaka baby. That was the first type of viral video I ever saw. I remember my dumbshit uncle having a laptop for whatever his faggy job was which was kinda rare at the time and making everyone watch this stupid fucking fake as shit baby dancing to hooked on a feeling. I'll never forget the idiot's face as he'd stare at whoever he was showing it to, just barely able to contain his own laughter. Whoever was watching it would watch the whole thing stonefaced and either be like "huh." or "why is that supposed to be funny?"
I remember him doing the same thing when mad cow disease was in the news and it was a video of a cow with big googly eyes screaming about how mad it was. That guy is a fucking retard.

I remember Fox broadcasted the World Series one year and kept cutting to stars of their shows in the crowd. Every time it went to her she was eating something. I can imagine them handing her the hot dog and counting down to when she’d have to take a bite.

She had a weird career - the Ally show was this big hit and people knew who she was and it was followed by…nothing. They didn’t try to make her some romantic comedy star in movies (like they did with Jennifer Aniston and tried with Debra Messing, Katherine Heigl, etc) and somehow she landed Harrison Ford who I’m sure could get a much better looking woman. Then again he seems to be stoned all day
