I run a geek-centric stand-up showcase in Milwaukee that we're about to take on the con circuit.

He should get the gang back together for another tour. Those really good friends he's definitely still in touch with.

We're a tight group that seems dedicated to really working together and boosting eachother instead of the sort of cut-throat everyone for themselves that the other big scenes seem to be.

He can't handle the nice shirt, stupid crowd.

What does success mean to you: Publishing two books per year, doing four or five stand-up shows per month, and earning enough doing both that I don't have to do anything else.

So he is a failure by his own definition.

- Performed 0 standup shows.
- Had to renew his insurance license and take out a PPP "loan".

This asking himself questions thing is classic "fake it till you make it" stuff. I bet someone gave him advice when he was starting out like "don't be afraid to shamelessly self-promote, you gotta get your name out there, keep grinding and fake it till you make it". At least he was able to motivate himself to do shit like this back then, but it is so pathetic that this is as far as he could make it. Now it's all lazy tweets and pictures of his food.

I'm a Packers fan, which is a category all to itself.

Not just your typical Sportz fan, he's a Packers fan. They're not like other fans you see, these guys are something else!

Also, he again invalidates the premise of his own joke. That last part about the douchetron stealing your money is the false definition of identity theft. Isn't he supposed to be describing the true definition of identity theft? The douchetron would be himself. It doesn't make any sense. He probably thinks that makes the joke clever, but it really doesn't.
