The name of Niki's company

Maybe I'm overthinking this, but it suddenly seems weird to me that there doesn't seem to be any business entity named Posts by Ghost. The name of her company is Robinson Writers.

It seems like Posts by Ghost is a "doing business as" (DBA) name. Why not just change the name of the LLC? Doing that actually prevents anyone else from using the same name in Wisconsin, and it also avoids confusion.

So what reason is there for her to keep the Robinson Writers name? It doesn't even make sense. She doesn't have writers. Even her husband isn't a writer, just a fat layabout.

I did some snooping around Robinson Writers and found this interview. It's 10 years old and her now-dead grandpa shows up in the comments to ask about his cabin, but did anyone know Posts by Ghost is a, wait for it, ghostwriting service? As Niki herself says...

In short, I decided to incorporate ghostwriting into my services because A.) there’s a market for it, and B.) I have a knack for it. Ghostwriting is writing for someone else, in their voice, with their name on it.

So all the trusted clients of PBG, their websites are full of Niki pretending to be their owner.

Probably has her mom help / do most of the writing since her mom has actually been in top positions. That might be why she has the company, it’s Niki’s Mom helping her daughter make a living because she’s otherwise useless.

This is clearly some Gone Girl type situation where Patrick's just some regular Milwaukee schlub who doesn't "get" the internet and just wants to watch a damn Brewers game. Meanwhile Niki's a criminal mastermind writing every text, every tweet, in the hopes someone will kill her husband because life insurance pays out double for a homicide.

Go to rewatch the Strictly Stalking episode and it's clearly just Niki wearing shoddy Pat makeup.

I don't think you can change the name of your LLC, but can change the DBA. So instead of filing for multiple LLC's for each failure you just change the DBA for free.
