Smith used to be really fun. As someone that's listened to hundreds, maybe thousands, of Kevin Smith podcasts, the two things that turned him into who he is today is weed and his wife. His wife basically turned him into a different person and made him abandon almost everything he knew and the weed really took away his talent. He used to be so sharp, quick and funny on pods until he started smoking.
He also used to be mean-spirited in a really fun way, like how he talked shit about Tim Burton, calling Reese Witherspoon "Greasy Reesey" and trying to get her address from Selma Blair so they could egg her house. Now he's turned into one of those "if you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all" people. And Mosier leaving really changed him and his work as well.
