I notice that these people not only dehumanize believers enough that they openly act superior to them but tie their beliefs to the political wing they're Patrick-levels opposed to, so they have no reason left subjectively to respect them as fellows humans at all. They have the wrong beliefs and the wrong politics. That's why theyre so aggressive, they use this show as a way to belittle people they're bitter towards and think are stupid-- granted most of them are-- but they're using politics to push the envelope into outright hostility most of the time. This show is a timebomb and it's only going to get worse. Years ago this wouldnt have flown on the old call in shows, they were only ever mean to arrogant callers or ridiculously rude or in cooperative callers, now if you stutter Matt will mute the caller and harangue them for five minutes. its hysterically funny
