I got inspired by some posts in the Bob Dylan thread. Where are we at with The Kinks. Personally they are one of my favourite bands and I feel they are really misunderstood by the greater public.

Ray Davies is one of the greatest living songwriters of the 20th century and his brother Dave complimented him perfectly. They really had a great series of albums from Village Green, Arthur, Lola and Muswell Hillbillies.
