Yeah but the only reason it’s funny is because he’s a thin skinned pussy who can dish it but not take it. I’ve stated that he’s never made me laugh on purpose more than a few times. Other classic clips like that are the Rainbow Room fight where he gets mad at Jackie even though Jackie was cool enough to not bring it up and mostly stay out of it because Fred asked, Howard bringing in the guy from the play to make out with Fred’s wife, and this one is less known (20 minutes or so) but his wife waited on Howard at a restaurant:

One of my favorite bits on old Stern started with Howard stating "So Fred went to therapy yesterday..."

Howard and Robin went back and forth for 20mins talking about how fucked up Fred is, with Fred gradually getting more and more agitated until he screamed out 'fuck', then Howard would have to stop the show and have Tom Chiusano dump the last few minutes of airtime.

I also love the story where Fred went and randomly chopped wood for two hours, got massive heart palpitations because of exhaustion. He called Robin (a nurse in the airforce) who had a panic attack on the phone and they screamed at each other thinking Fred was dying.

I miss old Stern. Ron and Fez really was the spiritual successor of it.
