Started my Monday saving a lizards life.

Poor little feller got into one of the only areas at work where it gets cold. Found him laying flat on his belly and was completely cold. Picked him up and warmed him up in my hands until he woke up. He immediately hit my hand, but they have no teeth so it didn't hurt. I went outside and stood in the sun with him on my palm just staring at me. He eventually scurried off onto a bush.

I wonder if he's on some anole version of a forum telling the same story.

I've had it happen a few times with the iguanas. They fall from the trees on cold days and if you're kind you can drag them into a sunny spot for them to regain consciousness from the suns heat. It happens every year here and the news reminds people that they're not always dead and can wake up.
