The SFWA angle still makes no sense to me. It's almost like they didn't read a single court document or ask for a status update at any point in time. Just rubber stamped the approval and fucked off, allowing one of their "writers" to try to get multiple judges in multiple states to revoke multiple peoples' first amendment right.

You don't need to be a fucking lawyer to see how much of a longshot it was. If their ultimate goal was to scare people off then they should have never let the thing move forward once they knew people would fight back.

What kind of fucking CFO doesn't kick the tires on this thing once it moves past the $20K mark and fire anybody who signed off on it? Now they're tasked with shaking down someone who has no money, no skills, and no talent to pay them back $100K+ plus interest.

You make an excellent point..... I mean how much $ could the SFWA possibly have that they wouldn't do any due diligence? I wouldn't be surprised if they made an initial retainer payment and then old Pat, the pillar of honesty, left the SFWA in the dark about how big the tab was getting.

I was the biggest proponent that it’s nikkis mom and whatever’s in her dead faggot fathers trust fund. If Canyon is so certain it’s the SFWA he probably has good reason and I trust him. He’s a former cop after all.

You would have to be fucking retarded to let Rick talk you into anything to begin with. I don't think they became any less stupid as the case progressed. If Pat offered me a legitimate gold bar I would wonder how it's going to fuck my life up in the end.

edit: holy fuck am I stupid
