I believe “Made In America” is all a Dream/Hell of Tony maybe even the viewer.
In the end of “Blue Comet” you can see Tony go upstairs and sit on the bed. He remembers the conversation he had with Bobby about getting whacked. “You probably don’t see it coming”
Tony senses death and hell…..He lays back on the bed with rifle on his chest looking at the door ready for war. He reminded me of a soldier and when he told Dr. Melfi…..”Soldiers don’t go to Hell”, he than closes his eyes and falls asleep.
I believe Tony gets killed in his sleep, clipped by Paulie at 3 o’clock in the morning while everybody at the safe house was sleeping…..”Tell Tony & Paulie…..3 o’clock”…..Thats what Chris meant all along about his Dream from Hell…..Paulie whacking Tony at 3 o’clock….. ”You probably never hear it coming”…..Tony never heard it coming because he was asleep.
Tony’s dream of “Made In America” was what Tony wished the outcome of everything would have been like.
I believe his family life never improved and that he knew deep down he could never win a MOB war vs New York
1: Manipulating the FBI to help him locate Phil Leotardo

8: When talking to AJs therapist, he was about to say Therapy was nonsense and all of a sudden he admits that his mother never showed him love and that he could never please her. While Carmela looks at him angry, he looks at her relieved that he finally admitted it after years of Dr. Melfi trying to make him realize it.

At the beginning of “Made In America” Tony wakes up in bed but looks like he’s laying in a coffin. Strange organ music is playing from the radio like if he’s in a funeral.
Agent Harris sleeping with a female Fed to get info on Phil’s whereabouts and then rooting for Tony to win the war…..LMAOOO
That’s something only Tony would dream about…..I just refuse to believe Agent Harris who always behaved like a decent person would do such a thing.
The ocean side speck house Carmella and the kids are hiding out in reminds me of Big Pussy…..”I always wanted a house by the ocean, maybe in another life”
I always thought it was odd that Tony knew to reach out to Butch. How did he know Butch would be willing to meet with him and turn on Phil?. The same way we already knew, because we saw the scene of Phil calling Butch and Butch suggesting a reach out to Tony…..we’re seeing it from Tony’s dream sequence.
The cat is a reincarnation of Chris, but it also represents death. In every scene that Tony is with the guys the cat is there. The cat is there because death already arrived for Tony. Paulie fights the cat like he always fought with Chris…..Snakes don’t like Cats.
Sil warned Tony of what would be his downfall, Pride. Tony acknowledges Sil’s friendship and loyalty. That Silvio was Tony’s only friend in the MOB….I believe when Tony’s dreaming this Sil dies in real life.
Tony & Paulie infront of the Pork store. The last 2 remaining…..Silvio, Chris, Big Pussy, Bobby, Jackie, Ritchie, Tony B, Ralphie, Gigi, Vito, Eugene, Furio all gone.
As Tony gets up and walks away (meaning he is also already gone) again the cat (death) appears. Now the only person there is Paulie all alone, and that the only way to survive that life is to betray even your friends……Just like Tony told AJ about close friends betraying him.
When Tony arrives at the Diner the song “All that you Dream” is playing.
Tony sees himself sitting down wearing a different shirt.
I think Tony is in hell in the Diner. He is arriving in third person seeing himself getting whacked over and over and over again (just like in Twilight Zone). I think what he’s seeking is also what Meadow is seeing when walking in to the Diner, her Daddy getting whacked.
The Diner door opening is really the door of his room at the safe house opening as he sleeps. Members Only jacket guy represents Paulie and the screen cutting too black means Tony is dead but not in the diner but in real life on his bed at the safe house.
We thought Tony’s Hell would be living for all eternity in that Colonial House with Livia and all the Degenerates he wronged and killed over the year. No!!!!
His true Hell is walking on himself getting clipped over and over as his family watches, cries and suffers for all eternity.
