I purchased Starship Repo ($15 or so on Amazon). I actually wanted to read it and review it as a goof-- I couldn't get past the first 3 pages. I even tried to read it on the shitter and lost interest within a few seconds and I started reading the label on my Nivea bodywash.

I purchased Starship Repo ($15 or so on Amazon). I actually wanted to read it and review it as a goof-- I couldn't get past the first 3 pages. I even tried to read it on the shitter and lost interest within a few seconds and I started reading the label on my Nivea bodywash.

Starship Repo actually showed up on the pirating sites recently (b-ok.cc) after not being on them since the book came out. So I downloaded it and started reading. In the first chapter alone, he makes a reference to the Star Wars cantina scene, mentions the Cleveland Browns, and then spends 3/4 of the chapter inside of a space McDonald's (which is somehow worse than it sounds).

I had to tap out a few pages into chapter two, and this despite actually reading Gate Crashers in its entirety. He really is a shit writer.
