I only ever knew of HIMYM in passing, but I thought the entire joke with the Neil Patrick Harris character was that he was a blatant homosexual telling obvious lies about having sex with women -like the "true story" punchline was funny because it was him telling glaringly obvious lies about liking and having sex with people that weren't men. It wasn't until I actually started reading up on it years later that that flaming queer was, in fact, supposed to be an in-cannon ladies man who had lots of sex with God-created vagina havers.

There used to be marathons of that show on and my ex would watch them. I never got into it but it was better than a lot of other shit she'd watch. I've literally never seen the main guy in anything else ever. Also, I really, really hate Alyson Hannigan's stupid fucking retard voice that she puts on for every role. It really annoys me.
