Pat's biggest accomplishment in life is getting ~45k twitter followers (and perhaps whatever voodoo he did to PCJ). The reason he has these followers is because he tweeted a topical "thought experiment" about abortion rights. Consequently, Pat believes the only way he can achieve any form of success is through having his ear to the ground, being in the know, etc., and then exploiting this information for self-gain/revenge at his HS teachers.
This is clearly evidenced in the "About" page on that abortion of a website he has.
For instance, Wheeler, in what is truly a near unintelligible article ("My own daily driver is a 2008 I’ve owned since 2012 with 165,000 miles – double the longest I’ve ever held onto a vehicle before, but still short of the average of nearly 12 years as of 2021!"), reveals through some form of ESP that cars are getting more expensive and there is something called a "chip shortage" across the world:
The "There are many reasons for this." is apropos of nothing. I guess an easy way to introduce a new idea in writing is refer to something you mentioned previously, even if you never actually mentioned the thing you are referring to.
Nonsensical writing aside, beneath the idiocy lies a belief that soon there is going to be this big market for people who are going to get all passionate about auto-maintenance.
But where are they going to get this information?! Surely, there needs to be some knight in shining Armor All (take that one Pat, you hack) to provide the coveted insights into maintaining your car -- a true automobile expert. Someone who "was conceived on the bench seat of a ’32 Ford Deuce Coupe rat-rod at a drive-in showing of American Graffiti."
Anyway, I guess the mission of the blog sums it up pretty well.
We help you make your car last longer. Make a desperate attempt to take advantage of SEO to get some form income stream from a POS website, completely neglecting the fact that SEO is not about lazily plopping in keywords but generating actual quality content.

There are many reasons for this. New cars are more expensive and complex than ever before. Plus, chip shortages are hitting new car inventories and driving up prices in the used market.
