Remember when Twitter cut 80% of its staff and nothing changed?

The bigggest companies have so much money that hiring people is an afterthought. I suspect that fortune 500 companies just hire people because it makes the company look successful and not because they're really needed.

Silicon Valley companies will hire people just to keep those skills away from a potential competitor. That's why so many Twitter alternatives came around after Elon laid off people.

There was that weekend where you literally couldn't see anything on there. Musk came out and said he was limiting tweets people could see for free but that's obviously not the case. A hell of a lot of people jumped to threads that weekend. If the EU had threads then, it's only just got it now, I think it would have succeeded

Pretty crazy how fake the economy is when you think about it. Boq is also a pedophile.
Yes, but also no. Twitter [was] the king of the overfunded tech fags, staffed full of blue haired fat women and soy chugging pronouns men, working 2 hours a day moving jira tasks between swim lanes and scheduling meetings about diversity (niggers). Most companies producing real value couldn’t cut 80% of staff without severely affecting performance, but most tech companies who’s name you recognize could and lose nothing of value.

There's a vending machine in the entrance of the building where I work. The guy who refills it has to carry everything in a little four-wheeled cart he pulls behind him. That means he's got to load it from the back of the van he drives then take the crippled ramp etc to get inside the building. He arrives almost every day and he carries maybe half a dozen cans and some chocolate bars. I want to ask him how much he gets paid because I'm thinking the pay cut to do that job might be worth it. He's never in a hurry and he's always got the same tiny cart filled with almost nothing.

Also, Boq wants to sharp-tongue sass-holes.
