Ever met a Simpsons Guy? One of those people that quote this show constantly and always callback to it? Goddamn I hate them.
I went to elementary school with a kid who wasn't allowed to watch it until like grade 6 and he became obsessed with it and constantly brought everything back around to The Simpsons. I remember he had some cool poster that had every single Simpsons character up to that point on it. I used to play NHL Hitz with that kid.

I remember going to it with my cousin and his friends and one of mine before going to a arctic monkeys concert. My cousin and his pals were underage while Me and my pal were over 18. We found some vodka on a bus and drank it behind the cinema in a alley. It was the last time I did underage type sneakiness. It felt so weird but the younger lot couldn't get in so we had to go that way.

The biggest laugh in the film was some fella falling over in the theatre and going flying. It still makes me laugh now thinking about it.

My Simpsons Guy also did this thing where he'd loudly slurp back his spit. His parents always gave him shit for it. Did your Simpsons Guy do that or have a similar tic?
He was french, which is 1 strike against him. We were playing guns outside once and he straight up goes "Im constipated. I have to go home." He was fat. I remember being confused that someone would even phrase their exit like that. He would say "as if" all the time with his thick french accent, leaving me to think that that was a french word he was saying. I didnt realize it was plain english until someone else said it and I went "why are you speaking french" and looked like a total dumbfuck. To be fair I couldnt have been older than 9

I'm fucking crying laughing at "I'm constipated. I have to go home." I'm going to say that to someone soon.

Honestly no. I'm not even exaggerating when I say I haven't had an irl conversation about that show with someone who wasn't a close friend/family member since I was in high school in 2001. I just cannot understand who the audience for it is in 2023. It's baffling.

I remember seeing the movie when it first came out and being depressed at how shit and irrelevant it was even back in 2007. I saw it in the first couple of weeks it came out and the theater was pretty much empty even then.

I saw this recently and couldn't believe it wasn't a parody...

That wasn’t funny, entertaining, or insightful. What was the point of that dialogue?

Mr. Burns is a feeble old man who couldn’t wrestle a lollipop from Maggie. How is he lifting a table even with Smithers help?
