I was just listening to the show where Danny and Earl were wrestling around and Earl got “knocked out.” He was obviously faking and R&F both screamed at him for faking. And then a week later, Earl Resigned.


I wonder if management got sick of him and gave him the option of resigning instead of being fired? I just don’t see Earl ever leaving that place on his own

It's nuts how often Ron or Fez would say something to Earl, and he wouldn't understand what they meant and give a nonsense reply. Or when they were trying to drag something out of him, and it was like he could only remember the last two sentences of the conversation, so it became this weird argument twisting in on itself as he desperately scrambled to understand what was happening to him. The lies about things for absolutely no reason. And his harassment of all the women hangers-on, that didn't get on the air enough and I'd love more of those stories. Like when he called that 21 year old at 1am, or when he raped the crazy woman.

His incompetency is mind blowing. He worked for OnA before R+F, Opie got him the job there. He had been in the radio business for a super long time and still couldn’t run the board properly. When he did an air check or whatever and they caught him faking like someone was there talking to him is hilarious. He didn’t just admit it and take the beating. He said a friend came in for 5 minutes while he was on the air and then just left. Utterly rib shattering.
