I believe he's totally a pedophile, a pedophile is a person who desires sexual congress with children, whether he acts on these urges or not. If he does act on these urges, he is a pederast. So semantically, yes, it is my opinion that Eric Hildemann is a pedophile.

If I walked around going “Theres nothing wrong with being gay, being gay is awesome, being gay is better than breathing air” you would all assume I like dicks in my ass. The only difference is pedophilia is a serious crime, and usually with criminals who get away with these types of violent acts can’t help but brag about it in public which is exactly what Eric does. His next step for “I defended people who lust after children” is “I defended people who took a little peek under their skirts” and “I defended people who maybe did some touching”, mirroring the nature and progression of his crimes.
