That rage was induced by a stress that goes beyond just having cuffs put on you. There is some other pressing matter going on in his life that brought that level of panic, helplessness and anger out.

No. I was raised in a discipline heavy household so I started getting reprimanded at a pretty young age for whining, crying, or acting out. My dad believed any emotional outbursts had to be done in private as to avoid embarrassment. Plus, being the cool headed person in the room is a leadership quality.

Also, Patrick didn’t rage - he threw a temper tantrum. I bet he was doing the Jim Norton flailing arms bit and everything.

It's probably what led him to get handcuffed.

I've said it before, but anyone else I would feel sorry for.

But in Rick's case, this is entirely self-inflicted. He thinks if he brings this kind of trouble into his life then those around him will feel bad on his behalf, and maybe give him some kind of fame for being victim. He's a shameless cry-bully though. So rather than feel bad for him I choose to mock him and laugh at his misfortunes.

I did get all Karen on a company that delivered my protein powder to the wrong address. They were like "Why don't you just go to that other address and pick it up" and I was like "Why don't you fucking go to that address and deliver it where you're supposed to".

Response: "No."

He got me.
You should order some t shots while you're at it. Just ribbing ya.

The 7-11 dude tried to scam me because I handed him a pile of cash and gave off inattentive 'Jim Breuer' goofy vibes, so he thought he could get away with pocketing $50. But I saw what he was doing and raged hard...face red and everything, his co-worker was turned on by the righteous anger.

My dad and older brother had massive temper tantrums when they were in their thirties and forties. They probably thought that they were being tough, scary guys when they were having them, but everyone was actually laughing at them behind their backs. I'm so glad that I didn't inherit that temper tantrum gene. For calling so many people "child", Pat sure does act like one.
