Being picked on doesn't justify getting good reviews. Encouraging someone to leave positive reviews for a guy because you feel sorry for him is gaming the system. False negative reviews hurt an author, but false positive reviews hurt consumers, misleads consumers as a whole into thinking something is higher quality than it may be. But hey, fuck everybody else, right Rick? As long as you get yours.
