Covid was a big deal because they were very quick to ease back on all restrictions.


Everything was completely normal down here even in the later end of 2020 when everyone else still had mask restrictions and social distancing. Real estate exploded as well. My condo was worth almost twice much as it is now during COVID. Several people in my building took advantage and sold their units. Now I have a few neighbors who overpaid for their place by a huge sum and it's kinda funny.

I never made it to the downtown or whatever tourist part of Chicago I was supposed to go to. I went to a white Sox game and people told me to expect my car to get broken into. On another trip I was going to take the train and locals said "just remember that the train stops at places so don't go after 5." So I put it on the pay no mind list.
