'Tomorrow Never Knows' is better than anything those snooty London wankers ever put out.

Also Lemmy knew:

“[T]he Beatles were hard men,” he wrote in his 2004 memoir White Line Fever. “[Manager] Brian Epstein cleaned them up for mass consumption, but they were anything but sissies. They were from Liverpool, which is like Hamburg or Norfolk, Virginia – a hard, sea-farin' town, all these dockers and sailors around all the time who would beat the piss out of you if you so much as winked at them. Ringo's from the Dingle, which is like the fucking Bronx.”
He continued: “The Rolling Stones were the mummy's boys – they were all college students from the outskirts of London. They went to starve in London, but it was by choice, to give themselves some sort of aura of disrespectability. I did like the Stones, but they were never anywhere near the Beatles – not for humor, not for originality, not for songs, not for presentation. All they had was Mick Jagger dancing about

Both bands are gay for various reasons, but at least the Stones had some great shit among the filler; The Beatles made music gay and none of the members were good musicians.

I hate McCartney and Mick Jagger's a Kabbalah money-loving evil fuck like Madonna, Paris Hilton and Ashton Kutcher.

I have a few minutes before I take the stage. Sorry folksh, been finagling with the venue about some sound issues we finally ironed out...

Ok, so the Beatles and Stones. I love them both; for differing reasons, they helped form my love for music. Character flaws aside for the actual men - and boy, are there many - the songs speak for themselves. Nothing will change that.

Yes, Paul has become weak sauce. Yes, Ringo has been a joke. Yes, Mick has done questionable shit. And yes, Keith shouldn't even be alive. But, Paul gave me the RAM album. Ringo was pretty good in "Caveman". Mick is actually a funny bloke who's mellowed out (I know this secondhand but the source is solid). And Keith is a fascinating motherfucker. The music those men have made will outlive all of us, a celebration of blues, rock, folk and sometimes even a little funk.

Ok, torch me all you want. Showtime!
