It just hit me that the final Pat-Josiah conversation was like a breakup for him. He thought he was talking to a fellow writer who was actually interested in his story. Finally someone who wouldn't roll his eyes when hearing about Bert Bertlinson on Twitter.

Josiah was close displacing Rakunas as BFF. All he had to do was suggest a hole in the wall serving ethnic food in the vicinity of a convention center that hosts sci-fi faggotry and he would've been a made man.

And then he finds out that Josiah was not who he thought he was. Betrayal and heartbreak.

Funny you say this. Someone I knew back in the day messaged me recently and while we were catching up I casually mentioned I’d been (sort of) named twice in a lawsuit. Went through the details a bit and sent him the apostlegate.net links and he immediately despised Pat and was laughing his ass off at the texts and phone calls.

I wouldn’t tell people in my immediate circle due to career reasons but I was happy to find that the average Joe will almost certainly agree that Pat is a fat faggot who deserves to suffer miserably.

I just love how pat thinks he is so smart but walked right into two different traps ( catfished and fake interview) and still thought he was winning more than ever. He really thought he made a new friend/ally. Pat even called him to share new info. For someone that prides themselves on being right at everything and smarter than everyone else. He made every mistake and was outsmarted multiple times throughout the 9 month bit and as predicted he is in complete denial because he was heartbroken that his new friend was just a silly rascal laughing at him the whole time. Good thing everything is documented to be revisited and pat is reminded multiple times a year for the foreseeable future.
