Which one is it? I unironically find the blog to be really helpful. I'm not a "car guy," so I've never thought of actually washing out the engine bay. When I did it this afternoon following the blog's instructions, the bay was filthy. I'm sure my car is in much better shape now because of reading Automanic.

People can have their criticisms of Patrick, but it seems lame to shit on a guy for taking the time to create something and showing a work ethic. The whole sitting on the "fart couch" thing isn't true at all -- he is always writing and coming up with new projects and entrepreneurial endeavors.

Meanwhile people here LARP as Lee Iaccoca, but post on a forum devoted to early 2000s era shock jocks all day.

Like Pat did with the autoblog. Whether you like it or not--I personally do because I gleaned some helpful tips--is irrelevant. I just appreciate hard work and when people take the iniatitive to do something cool.
