I liked the end of part 2 when Louis started shitting on Shane over the live read. Then he had to read the gay ass lines that were written for him in front of him. Hardest I’ve laughed at a podcast in awhile.

I just finished this. It was pretty good, but the end of 4 fell off a bit. Louis tried to be fair in some ways with modern politics but the way he described Obama as a ray (shine, if you will) of light and Trump being the devil made it a little cringe for the last 30 minutes or so

The way he exaggerates some trivial nonsense these presidents did as if they were monumental events that somehow got ignored by the public is so off putting. It is as if he is imitating this trope of an intellectual who can see beyond the current, someone he watched or read somewhere. It's the same pretension that emanates from all that artsy bullshit he was doing.

At the end of the day Louis got famous for his edgy comedy which was neither witty or high brow. He needs to stop trying to be Woody Allen.

It was entertaining. I understand a lot of people will listen like *this is how it REALLY happened.

The only things I think I learned is that Taylor died from eating cherries and milk and CK is heartbroken over his mother dying when he got canceled
