Towards the end of O&A, it was clear to any listener that Opie hated certain bits like Uncle Paul. I remember us pests thinking that it was because Opie had just become a father and had a change of heart on that kind of yumah.

But now we know that Opie knew that Jim and Ant were actual creepy pervs and he had to sit there and was expected to act like those "jokes" were funny when he knew the intent behind them.

Opie worked with two people who also put the show in jeopardy. Ant with his race rants could have gotten the entire show canceled (meaning Opie and Jimmy are also out of work). And Jimmy, not being able to take some DL Hughley as a guest when Jimmy ignored his email...

It's not a tough one man. Opie, for all his flaws, is an absolute saint for having to deal with those lowlife degenerates for over a decade.

I am actually starting to soften my raging hard on for Opie hate since I joined this lunatic asylum forum "Hiiiii, HELLHOLE!"

I mean, don't count a nigga out with the "destroyer of comedy" bit and all (I'm still down), but I'm starting to understand and at least sympathize a bit for Opie's plight in the whole big picture scenario of O&A/O&J to be perfectly honest witchu.

Without the Opie's Nighttime Attitude Show there's absolutely no O&A. Ant would still be an HVACster and Opie probably would be a side kick second mic to that faggotster Brother Wease (who probably deserves a thorough trashing thread of his own). Opie was the catalyst for it all, no doubt. I won't deny that. Can't deny it. Opie just wanted to sling dick-jokes and have the occasional naked dunce up in the studio type radio show. Eventually even Opie burned out on the "Porno Bitches" aspect of the show which I agreed with, wholeheartedly. That shit gets stale quick. If it's audio only it's an immediate Debbie Downer unless they tell horrific stories of being given multiple STD's while plied with shitty, stepped on kike coke and only getting 1/10th of what they were promised to get paid, etc. Even with video... After you see the tits it's "OK! What's next, faggot?!"

Ant was basically indifferent to it in whatever form other than on whatever that personal chat video he would watch during the show for the rare flash of titties, Opie grew to despise it and, of course, Jim wanted it constantly.
"Ugh. I'm tired of the porno guests, Jim. It's boring." I hear ya, bruthaman, I hear ya.

And Jimmy... Well, he's admitted multiple times, unironically so, that he's just a coattail rat jumping from one sinking ship to the next without the slightest bit of regret.

It's also obvious that a lot of comics hated Uncle Paul because it reminded them of how much of a creep and rapist Norton was. Guys like Burr, Patrice, Bobby, Vos, they were repulsed and grossed out whenever Norton would do Uncle Paul. They would all joke about molestation and their awful childhoods. But when Jimmy would talk or joke about it their reactions were always a little different.
