It's the San Francisco Bay, you can find an empty Oakland bridge at 3am and hurl her body in.
Scott supposedly killed her on Christmas, then a huge search went underway finding nothing, then people stopped searching so hard. Connor was found April 13th and Laci April 14th. Months go by but coincidentally the two bodies wash up within hours of each other.

She was walking the dog and stumbled upon something she shouldn't have seen, maybe she went Karen and started threatening the criminals. She gets thrown into the back of a van that speeds off leaving the dog behind. Her disappearance becomes national news and the criminals freak out. Maybe it was a human trafficking thing, who knows. Maybe Scott paid some people to snatch her while he had "an alibi".
Somewhere out there is a vehicle with tons of Laci's DNA all over the upholstery.

I take hard evidence over Nancy Grace he ordered PPV porn! Gone Girl type "evidence". Everything in the Scott Peterson case is Gone Girl evidence. He was cold at the trial! He was cheating on her!
There was a ton of hard evidence OJ was guilty, he was lucky enough to do it in the right place (LA a couple years after Rodney King) at the right time (when you could still call DNA evidence witchcraft voodoo the white man is manipulating).
