There's two people I went to school with that do it now. Neither of them are or ever were funny at all. I wouldn't pay to watch someone less funny than me perfom standup comedy. And the only thing gayer than watching standup is doing standup.

yeah standup is honestly cringe LARP. there was a restaurant/bar place near me that shut down fast but it had open mic nights, I was going to go there and say random "What's the deal with ____" / "Did you ever hear about the ____" and then make fart sounds, kind of bummed I never got to
