The CA subpoena was quashed but that doesn't technically close the Wisconsin case. As far as we know, hes still suing 60 John Does in WI. I'm assuming by 1/20 he better have some actual defendants or Ashley tosses it.

On the last episode, Brinton told the judge that if they don't get Quasi's identity the case is dead.

Brinton did not get Quasi's identity. Also, they only had a limited amount of time under Wisconsin law to serve papers on the various John Does; this time has expired (although the judge has let them have some extensions).

I'm no lawyer, but I think Porklinson could re-file a proper suit in California and ask for another extension in Wisc.; but that would rely on Judge Ashley being exceedingly generous. Also, I don't know how he'd pay for it - I think the SFWA have exceeded how much money they can give to that particular charity, and he doesn't have cash of his own. It could be that the SFWA just go "fuck it, we're done being a charity, let's lose our 501(c)3 and go bankrupt just so that this fat fuck can find out who's calling him a fat fuck" but I suspect cooler heads may prevail over there.

Also some of the evidence in Pat's Pleading appears to have been gathered illegally (with some help from The Mole), and he risks having that explored in court if he continues. I can't stress enough what a magnificent job SpaceEdge et al did with that - not just the lols, but planting that fucking landmine in his case.

Could be a couple things, for one just having a lolsuit hanging over someones head might make rascals behave a little longer or until site just gets bored and fall apart, there also is if some miracle happens before 1/20 then it could precede, they will wait until a day or so before 1/20 and give up

Brinton is done with this lunatic. He said as much if Cloudflare didn’t surrender info and Judge Fudge agreed. After ApostleGate dropped Resto Not Dabessdo realized he’s got a fucking maniac on his hands that even his fancy wine degree couldn’t contend with.

I don’t know who is paying for this but someone’s ass is getting plowed whether it’s the animals in the SFWA or Pat’s faggot in laws. Honestly it doesn’t matter. This is going nowhere much like Pat’s existence.

tl;dr I want to launch an investigation into Attorney Ways’s butthole/crack

Yeah it being in CA doesn't end it. The case is "active" but I'm assuming it'll be transferred back to Milwaukee jurisdiction and get listed for a case management conference in which Ashley would need to shit can it at this point. He's given this hack firm nearly a year to identify one fucking defendant.

Do we know what he was asking them for?
Pat's gonna have to sell $5068.50 more worth of insurance policies.

He's probably stupid/arrogant enough to keep paying Brinton & Ways until January. That way he can continue telling people their lives will be over soon and wait quietly for the knock, which is easily worth another $40k+ added to the debt he's decided not to pay.
Patrick doesn't think he is paying for anything. He thinks this frivolous lawsuit was just another PPP "loan." He is a deadbeat POS. Unfortunately, this time there's no bailout.

He's probably going to jump out of a window at some point.

It's also been over two years since a lot of the posted comments in the complaints. If he didn't get identifying info from those ISPs yet, any IPs he has in those instances are now completely useless.
