American fan told me he downwgraded from a 2020 Hyundai (point and laugh, fellas) to a 2009 Chevy car. I dunno, their small one, like an Astra size, but a coupe? I don't remember the name.

Anyway, he says he's already been able to change the air filter, cabin filter, and even the bloody fuses on it, which is way more than he could do on the previous one. I can't even remember the last fucking time I've been able to work on a car. It's gotten so God damn complicated.

I ought to go pick up an 80s scirocco for a lark, beat the piss out of the thing. Probably couldn't kill it if I tried.

The most egregious feature is this automatic high-beam option, where the car senses ambient light (other cars) and adjusts its own headlights accordingly. It's meant to be used outside of the city, but most people are so retarded they don't know what it is and the let their headlights schizophrenically flicker as other cars trigger the sensor, or the high-beams are on permanently and blast everyone with these baseball stadium LEDs.
