I own and regularly sport a WOW shirt in 2024, and the only person who recognized it was some 70 year old trucker. He saw me walking in the distance at a Walmart parking lot and hollered excitedly "Hey I remember that show! I remember that show!" while pointing at me as he tugged on his wife's shirt sleeve. I mean, this geezer looked legitimately retarted and the wife his wrangler, so I lowered my head and kept walking to save myself from further embarrassment.
