Headed home from my working retreat. Hot a good chunk of work done...but I'm still gonna have to bust ass if I want to meet my October deadlines. And it's a meet or don't deadline; no extension.

Reminds me of when I started my first job at fawkin 18. I would brag about how I had deadlines. I wouldnt even think about mentioning it now because that's all work is and we ALL know it.

BS. She's gluing macaroni to construction paper in a Best Western and poorly tracing a Chinese character (or "Kanji") in the corner, stockpiling arts and crafts for Etsy. There is no work retreat, and the deadline is an anticipated pity buy from her relatives.
