He's too lazy, stupid or both to hang a frame. $2,000 poster in a $1,500 frame just leaning against the wall on the floor of his fancy dining room studio.
There's this old WNEW bit making fun of Earl because it took him all day to hang a few pictures at the studio. Anthony has been living there over a year and I'd bet that frame has been leaning like that since the day it entered the house.

The time period. Jaws came out when he was a teenager. Alien as well. People tend to hang on to things from their formative years and he's no different, but I don't think I need to remind you that the Cumia bag is full of ancient references. Next time you hear a Honeymooners reference, that's a 70 year old show.

The Dick Van Dyke show references and tripping over the ottoman are hilarious, too, because that's old even for Anthony. That show's last season was 1966, when he was five years old.
That would be like a 39 year old today constantly making references to Tom Selleck's Magnum PI or Don Johnson's Miami Vice as a cultural touchpoint.
