Everything Microsoft makes is dwogshit. I used to use msPaint as a kid, it was perfect. Now they changed it to "3D Paint" or whatever. You can't even select freeform. It has to be box shaped selections only. Yeah, let's erase the world's most basic features. Dumb cocksuckers.

Have a new one for work too, and the fucking thing won't even turn off half the time. Just gets stuck on the shutdown screen, and you can't even get to the battery to pull it out to force a shutdown

Worst product Ive ever used in 15 years of working IT. Nothing further, just seething about the time I had a customer who kept buying these and replacing about 80% of them in the first year, while troubleshooting monthly for hours because Microsoft will manage to brick their own devices with updates.

Microsoft and hardware, you just know it's gonna be crap.

They're hot garbage. I'm a computer janitor at a school and our new principal insisted on getting these for the admins. I said get a macbook air. They're quiet, fast, and the battery lasts forever. The surfaces run dangerously hot idling at the desktop and the battery drains in 3-4 hours doing basic tasks.

It was worse than that. If you had WIN7 and upgraded to WIN10 they uninstalled all of the basic Windows programs and games and replaced them with subscription services that were bloated with advertisements. So Solitaire from 7 or XP would be removed, replaced with the W10 version with advertisements, and there was no way of reverting the change through any official Microsoft channels.

Which one is it? I like them but Fatso ruined it for me since I liked them before I saw his ham hocks using one at Hoolies for writing. I had a Surface Pro 7 and I like the new ones that slimmed down a bit. I did replace it with a Razer 14 Laptop since I wanted something more powerful with a 3070 for gaming but I still liked how portable the Surface was.
