A couple years ago my buddy bought a few hundred bucks worth of DOGE on a whim before it shot up to almost a dollar when Elon went on SNL. It was probably ~30x his buy-in price by then and we talked about him selling, but since it was all luck and he doesn't understand stocks he somehow wanted more profit, then it tanked of course and he just laughed it off.

He has a great job and does well in life, but he basically pissed away a free 12 grand or so. Fuck him and his Rivian truck.
