It actually does matter, because other countries have wildly different legal systems, you fucking mongoloid. There's a reason the US is stereotyped as a country where people sue eachother over stupid shit, it's generally way harder to pursue such a flimsy suit in a Civil Law country which treats it in a completely different way.
For one thing, a lot of legal systems treat slander as a criminal matter, not a civil one, with fines that are considerably lower than the 200,000+ dollars Pat is seeking. Oh, and they probably have strong anonymity provisions for perpetrators, so no doxing either, fatboy.
