The old bum is trying to fly out of MacArthur airport in Islip. MacArthur is a 2nd rate regional airport that does not have advanced equipment. I never fly out of there because if there is bad weather, particularly strong winds, they don't have the equipment to safely take off and land aircraft. I got screwed over twice so I don't ever try anymore. No great conspiracy. You just can't use that airport when it is windy.
